Zion: Day 2

Zion has done a remarkable job at dealing with over 2 million visiting the park annually with an elaborate bus system that transports people through the park. Buses run on time and frequently swing through each stop. With the number of people in the park, even after peak season, the trails are crowded. However, today we found a trail less traveled to hike on.

It is amazing that a desert area like Zion can have so many colorful flowers growing near cacti.

Heading northeast to a campground before we head to see Abby, my niece, in Salt Lake City. Zion is added to the list of National Parks that I now treasure
