I’ll interpret the rocks, learn the language of flood, storm, and the avalanche. I’ll acquaint myself with the glaciers and wild gardens, and get as near the heart of the world as I can.”

At Yosemite National Park I will be camping on Southern Miwok and Central Miwok land. I give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial and honor all my Indigenous siblings who have and continue to call this land their home.
