Yosemite
The road to Yosemite was lined with farm fields and orchards. Semi trucks hauled loads of tomatoes, red and green. The farm fields gave way to rolling grasslands which opened to the increased elevation of the Sierra National Forest bringing us to the doorstep of the steep rock formations and deep valley of Yosemite National Park.
Our campsite is lovely, surround by majestic ponderosa pines and cedars with a view of the magnificent towering craggy peaks and granite domes.
From our campsite we ventured on a three hour hike up the valley. We were nestled between peaks on each side.
