Arrived at Theodore Roosevelt NP

July 26 (I am finding out that cell phone service and wi-fi may be challenging)

Last night I experienced a lightening show-God’s fireworks-from the sky roof of my tent. I was grateful for the glorious rain that nourished the thirsty land and for a tent that kept me dry. What a treat it was to not have to pull up stakes of a wet, muddy tent, but merely folded down the roof nest tent and was ready to go in a matter of minutes.

On my first full day of travel I was filled with gratitude for:

  • Good health that allows me to travel

  • Diversity of creation

  • Safe travels

  • Courage to embark on this solo trip

  • Rain and sunshine

  • Time to reflect, relax and renew

  • Love and support of family and friends….
