Arrived at Theodore Roosevelt NP
July 26 (I am finding out that cell phone service and wi-fi may be challenging)
Last night I experienced a lightening show-God’s fireworks-from the sky roof of my tent. I was grateful for the glorious rain that nourished the thirsty land and for a tent that kept me dry. What a treat it was to not have to pull up stakes of a wet, muddy tent, but merely folded down the roof nest tent and was ready to go in a matter of minutes.
On my first full day of travel I was filled with gratitude for:
Good health that allows me to travel
Diversity of creation
Safe travels
Courage to embark on this solo trip
Rain and sunshine
Time to reflect, relax and renew
Love and support of family and friends….
